Today I was invited to a group for the second day in a row, called ‘Witches for Jesus.’ I can only assume that since I’ve already ignored an invitation to this group, someone really wanted to invite me, or, the follow this blog and thought that it would get my attention enough to go and check out the group, and possibly post about it.
I found the Groups information section to be quite fascinating, so, I’ll share that with all of you.
I USE THE WORD, ‘WITCH’, IN A PURELY POSITIVE SENSE, NO WAY A SERVANT OF THE DEVIL, WHICH I DON’T EVEN BELIEVE IN. IT’S VERY MATRIARCHAL AND EMPOWERS WOMEN. IT (THE OLD WAYS) HOOKS US BACK IN TO THE NATURAL WORLD AND HELPS US TO SEE THINGS IN A BROADER SENSE. NO FEAR, ONLY LOVE. I SAY ‘JESUS’ BECAUSE I BELIEVE WHAT HE HAD TO SAY EITHER ANGERED THE AUTHORITIES OR FOLKS (INCLUDING THE APOSTLES) DIDN’T HAVE A CLUE WHAT HE WAS REALLY TRYING TO TEACH THEM. HE WAS A TRUE MYSTIC. AND ALOT OF TERRIBLE SHIT HAS BEEN DONE IN HIS NAME. I THINK HE WOULD APPROVE OF THIS GROUP. JESUS WAS A FEMINST YOU KNOW.
Makes you want to giggle just a little bit doesn’t it? So, Jesus was a ‘feminst’ and he pissed off a whole lot of authority figures, including the apostles. Something I was completely unaware of. Thank goodness this group exists so that I was able to learn something new.
