Sometimes they look at least a little bit interesting, so I’ll look through the group to see if there is anything of interest taking place in them. I found this in one of those groups. Sometimes you just have to stop and rant about a situation, there’s really not much else you can do about it. Today I had a question that I needed some help with answering. Now most of you know I’m not all that familiar with the bible and Abrahamic Faiths. I have no problems with them, I just have a severe lack of knowledge. The Us vs. Them Mentality

Hopefully you remember the previous blog about the discussion that was happening where a woman was making the claim that Christians are burning pagans out of their homes on a fairly regular basis in the southern regions of the US? I thought that I’d share a bit more from the conversation.

While there were a number of us who were asking for source information and news articles, no one was able to provide them for us. The woman making the claims said she’d been a witness to these actions on more than one occasion, though none of the other members of the group had the same experiences. Of course, the group owner did share a personal experience, though I’m not quite sure that it is the same as people or Christians burning Pagan families out of their home. (more…)

Friend Collectors, The Rage of lala

If you’re on a social network, you’ve run into at least one of these. While not necessarily ‘Fluff’ they do fall into the ‘Asshat’ category. You see, I’ve decided that they are very much like Social Network Leeches.

Now while I do TRY to stay away from the ‘Friend Collectors’ they can and do slip through the cracks. I’m the co-creator of a Pagan Community, we utilize FB to get the word out about that community and have some pretty good discussions over on the PM profile over there. People want to friend me on my personal profile, and the ones who are of a less fluffy variety, will usually get added. (more…)

More Spam

It just seems to sneak right up on you. If it’s pagan/metaphysical, does that make it any less spam-tastic?

There is a growing trend, an epidemic on FB which allows people who barely know you, friend collectors and the like to add you to groups without prior knowledge or consent. If being added to every Pagan Flavored group under the sun wasn’t bad enough, now the Pagan/Esoteric shops are jumping on board with it. (more…)

Confuddled Fuzzy

Cruelty to animals and Halfwits is sometimes frowned upon. Eating a fluffy soul is one thing, rolling on the floor laughing at them is also a fun past time. Just a chance to sit back, relax and giggle your ass off at some of the things that they say. You don’t really have to step in, because they do such a perfect job of proving their flufftardism all by themselves. (more…)
